Medical Technology at TexomaCare

At TexomaCare, the region's largest group of primary care and specialty physicians, it's important to stay current with advanced medical technology that allows us to treat patients more effectively and efficiently.

One way we've done so is by implementing electronic health records (EHR) at TexomaCare locations. The EHR software used by TexomaCare eliminates paper charts and gives physicians and authorized medical staff access to patient information quickly and efficiently by computer.

That lets TexomaCare physicians and other medical providers to interact with patients, view medical histories and insurance information, order diagnostic tests and see the results, share information with other TexomaCare physicians and send electronic prescriptions to pharmacies.

Implementing electronic health records has been shown to increase patient safety and improve quality of care, and is just one way that TexomaCare's use of advanced medical technology provides more effective, efficient care for area residents.

TexomaCare is comprised of both primary care physicians as well as a variety of specialists. With locations in four local communities, we provide coverage for those living on either side of the Red River. We are proud to be affiliated with Texoma Medical Center, a local leader in hospital services. We work together to make sure that your good health is our main priority.

Patient Portal

As a service to our patients, we offer a safe, secure and encrypted web access to your medical records called Patient Portal. Only you can log in to see you scheduled appointments, contact information, lab and pathology results, and current medications. Patient Portal is HIPAA compliant and even more secure than email in protecting your information.

From the Patient Portal you can send a message to your provider, request refills, check your recent labs and even see your current or previous statements. Through the Patient Portal system, TexomaCare hopes to expedite response in a timely fashion. We understand that your time is valuable!
